Two Medics, Intern and Truck Driver Hospitalized after Crash First and Exposition Streets near Deep Ellum

Four Hospitalized in Dallas Fire Truck Crash at First and Exposition Streets

Dallas, Texas (February 18, 2019) – Two medics were among four people hospitalized after a Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance was involved in a two-vehicle accident near Deep Ellum Sunday evening.
According to the fire department, the incident happened at about 6 p.m. February 17 at First and Exposition streets.
The report showed that the ambulance was transporting a patient to a hospital when it collided with a truck.
Two medics in the ambulance, an intern and the driver of the other truck were all transported to a hospital after the incident.
The truck driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries while the medics and the intern were taken as a precaution and were expected to be ok.
Another ambulance was dispatched to the scene to transport the patient who was being taken to the hospital when the crash occurred.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
