Man Critically Injured in Webster Pedestrian Accident on I-45 Gulf Freeway at Bay Area Blvd

Webster, Texas (February 25, 2020) – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning in Webster, according to the police.

The accident happened around 6:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Gulf Freeway at Bay Area Boulevard.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the main lanes of the freeway when he was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was taken to HCA Clear Lake Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was listed in critical condition.

The accident closed all the main lanes of the freeway. The lanes have since been reopened.

The police are investigating the crash.
