3 Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on I-20 in Martin County

Martin County, Texas – Three people were killed in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Martin County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:26 p.m., March 26, on Interstate 20.

DPS said a 2019 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of the interstate while a 2019 Ford Coachman was traveling eastbound in the inside lane.

The Sentra swerved into the Coachman, causing the Coachman to veer into the center median, through the cable barrier, and into westbound lanes where it collided with a westbound 2017 Ford F-250.

The Sentra also veered into the center median, hit a cable barrier, and rolled over.

Two passengers in the Ford F-250 were killed in the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Sentra were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Coachman was also killed in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
