Two Injured in Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 973

Travis County, Texas (May 19, 2021) – Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in eastern Travis County, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred on May 18, on North FM 973, near Walter Long Park, south of Manor.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

Two people were considered trauma alerts and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. One of the victims had serious injuries, while the other victim had non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed both directions of FM 973. The lanes have since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
