2 Injured in DUI Crash on Interstate 35 in Bellmead

One Toddler, One Adult Injured in Bellmead Crash on Interstate 35; Isaiha Robinson Arrested

Bellmead, Texas (August 30, 2022) – A toddler and an adult were hospitalized following an alleged DUI crash Sunday morning in Bellmead, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The collision happened at around 6:50 a.m. Sunday, August 28 on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 338.

DPS said a Ford F-150 was heading northbound on Interstate 35 when it rear-ended truck tractor semi-trailer. Flowing the collision, an unrestrained adult and an unrestrained child were partially ejected from the Ford.

The two-year-old girl and the adult in the passenger seats were both transported to Baylor Scott and White in critical condition.

The driver of the Ford, Isaiha Robinson, 21, of San Antonio, was arrested and booked into the McLennan County Jail on charges, including Felony Intoxication Assault, Abandoning or Endangering a Child, and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

His bail was set at $550,000.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
