Harris County Deputy Injured in Houston Car Accident at Texas and Milam

Houston, Texas (August 9, 2019) – A Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s deputy was injured early morning crash Thursday in a traffic accident at an intersection in Houston, according to a local news source.

The collision took at about 3:15 a.m. Thursday, August 8 at the intersection of the 800 block of Texas and Milam.

As per the report, a woman was driving a Jeep through the intersection. As the light turned red, her vehicle collided with the deputy’s vehicle.

The deputy suffered an injury to her right arm and was transported to a hospital.

The driver of the Jeep was not injured.  Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
