One Killed and One Injured in Montgomery County Motorcycle Crash at Dobbin Huffsmith and Collier Smith Road

Montgomery County, Texas (January 1, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Montgomery County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just before 3:00 p.m., December 31, at the intersection of Dobbin Huffsmith and Collier Smith Road.

Authorities said an SUV might have failed to yield the right of way as it tried to turn on Collier Smith Road and was struck by two Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

One of the riders was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The other rider was taken to the hospital with a head injury and a broken leg.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
