2 Injured in DUI Crash on West Mistletoe Avenue in San Antonio

Two Injured in San Antonio Crash on West Mistletoe Avenue near San Pedro Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (May 28, 2022) – Two people were seriously injured Thursday night in an alleged DUI crash in north San Antonio, according to authorities.

The major-injury collision occurred at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, on West Mistletoe Avenue near San Pedro Avenue.

Authorities said an SUV rear-ended a car, which then crashed into a nearby truck.

The driver and front-seat passenger of the car sustained serious injuries in the crash. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities determined that the driver of the SUV was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident. The driver was charged with DUI.

The crash remains under investigation.
