Two Injured in Montgomery County Plane Crash on Porter Road and Youpon Lane

Montgomery County, Texas (June 25, 2021) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a plane crash in Porter Heights, southeast Montgomery County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened on Porter Road and Youpon Lane, near Williams Airport.

DPS said a small plane lost power during a training exercise and crashed.

An instructor and a student in the plane sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
