2 Injured in Rollover Crash at 98th Street and Interstate 27 in Lubbock

Two Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at Interstate 27 and 98th Street

Lubbock, Texas (March 15, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in far south-central Lubbock, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 9:15 a.m. March 14, in the area of Interstate 27 and 98th Street.

According to the report, two vehicles collided, causing one of them to roll off the interstate overpass and onto 98th Street below.

One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries while another victim sustained minor injuries.

The crash closed westbound traffic on 98th Street and diverted interstate traffic from the northbound 98th Street exit.

The crash remains under investigation.
