71-Year-Old Woman Killed in Leonard Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 69 near Leonard High School

Leonard, Texas (November 8, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Leonard, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on November 6, on U.S. Highway 69, in front of Leonard High School.

Police said the crash involved two vehicles.

Both drivers were airlifted to a Plano hospital where one of them, a 71-year-old Longview woman, was declared dead.

The other driver had non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
