Tyartrick Coutee Killed in Nacogdoches Pedestrian Accident on South Street

Nacogdoches, Texas (March 17, 2023) – A man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run accident in Nacogdoches, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:30 p.m., March 13, in the 5000 block of South Street.

Police said Tyartrick Coutee, 45, of Nacogdoches, was found laying in the roadway after being struck by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved vehicle fled the scene after the accident, and the police are looking for the suspect.

The police are investigating the crash.
