Patric Barrio Killed in Tow Truck Accident at I-27 and 19th Street in Lubbock
Patric Barrio ID’d as Driver Killed in Lubbock Tow-Truck Accident at Interstate 27 and 19th Street
Lubbock, Texas (September 5, 2019) – The driver who was killed in a tow truck accident Tuesday night at a Lubbock intersection has been identified as Patric Barrio,26, according to the police.
The crash was reported at about 6:18 p.m. September 3, in the area of Interstate 27 and 19th Street.
Police said Barrio was driving a 2018 Ram 5500 Tow Truck, which was hauling two separate vehicles when he collided with a 2010 Chevy Camaro at the intersection.
Barrio was declared dead at the scene.
The Camaro driver was taken to Covenant Health with minor injuries.
LPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
