Pilot Killed in Burleson Plane Crash near Spinks Airport on Stone Road and Abner Lee Drive

Burleson, Texas (May 8, 2020) – A pilot was killed Thursday afternoon in a plane crash in Burleson, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash occurred on Thursday, May 7, on Stone Road and Abner Lee Drive near Spinks Airport.

According to the report, a plane overshot the runway and crashed deep into the woods south of the airport. The plane caught fire after crashing.

The pilot was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.
