Man Killed, 3 Injured in Head-On Collision on State Highway 6 in Sugar Land

Man Killed, Three Hospitalized after Sugar Land Crash on State Highway 6 at U.S. 90

Sugar Land, Texas (August 17, 2022) – A man was killed and three other people were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday night in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County.

The deadly crash happened on State Highway 6 at U.S. 90 on Tuesday, August 16.

Authorities said a pick-up truck and a white sedan collided head-on.

The man driving the sedan died in the crash. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Three other people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

All main lanes of Highway 6 at U.S. 90 were closed for over three hours following the crash.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
