Two Injured in Stratford Semi-Truck Crash on US 287

Stratford, Texas (April 29, 2021) – Two people were injured on Wednesday in a fiery semi-truck crash, six miles south of Stratford, according to the deputies.

The crash occurred on April 28, in the northbound lane of US 287.

Deputies said a semi-truck was parked on the shoulder of the highway when it was struck by another semi-truck.

Both semi-trucks caught fire after the collision.

The driver of the semi-truck that crashed into the parked semi-truck was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash diverted the northbound traffic.

The crash remains under investigation.
