Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash at SH 36 and FM 1994 in Fort Bend County

Man Seriously Injured in Fort Bend County Motorcycle Crash at Texas Highway 36 and FM 1994

Fort Bend County, Texas (November 25, 2019) – A man was airlifted after a motorcycle crash Sunday morning in the unincorporated community of Guy, Fort Bend County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. November 24, at the intersection of Texas Highway 36 and FM 1994, near Needville High School.

Authorities said the man was riding a motorcycle on Texas Highway 36 when a vehicle driven by a woman turned into his path and hit him.

The impact caused the man’s helmet to fly off.

The man was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston with head injuries and a broken hip.

The woman is awaiting a failure to yield the right of way citation.

The crash remains under investigation.
