36-Year-Old Woman Fatally Hit by Car on Southwest Freeway in Houston

36-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas – A 36-year-old woman was fatally hit by a car Saturday night in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:20 p.m., February 10, on the service road of the Southwest Freeway.

Police said the woman was lying in the roadway when she was struck by a southbound black Honda Accord. 

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Honda driver, a 53-year-old man, remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired, and was subsequently released.

The police are investigating the crash.
