Dominic Cook Killed Dallas Tow Truck Crash on I-35E

Dallas, Texas (May 7, 2019) – The man who was killed by a crash between a tow truck and a car early Monday morning in Dallas has been identified as David Cook, 46, according to a local news source.
The deadly wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. on I-35E near Empire Central Drive.
According to the report, Cook was operating a Tow Jam truck southbound on I-35E when he, for unknown reasons, slammed into the rear of a Nissan Altima. The impact caused the Nissan to hit a concrete wall while Cook’s truck left the roadway, struck the guardrail and crashed into a tree on the side of the feeder road.
Cook succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Nissan driver was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
