Man and Woman Injured in Winona Motorcycle Crash on Highway 155 North and Jones Street
Winona, Texas (May 16, 2019) – A man and woman were injured in a traffic accident involving a motorcycle in the Winona area Wednesday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened on Highway 155 North and Jones Street Wednesday, May 15.
The DPS said the motorcycle collided with a car for an unknown reason on the roadway.
According to the DPS, the man operating the motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital and her female passenger was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital.  Both were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
Their names and condition were not immediately disclosed.
No other details were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
