2 Injured in School Bus Crash on U.S. 290 in Austin

Austin, Texas (January 29, 2019) – Two men were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving an Austin ISD school bus Tuesday night in Austin, a local news source reported.
The crash was reported on Tuesday, in the 4900 block of W. U.S. 290 under Loop 1.

Officials said there were no students on board the bus at the time of the accident.
A man in his 60s was taken to St. David’s South with serious injuries. A man in his 20s was also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The bus blocked eastbound 290 beneath the Mopace Bridge. All the eastbound lanes on Ben White Boulevard were shut down following the crash.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
