Two Injured in Belton Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14

Belton, Texas (December 28, 2019) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a traffic collision involving an 18-wheeler in Belton, according to the police.

The crash took place on Friday, December 27, on U.S. Highway 190/Interstate 14.

Police said an 18-wheeler crashed into a parked SUV on the highway.

Two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The big rig driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the highway at the Connell Street exit. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The highway was reopened around 11:00 a.m.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
