40-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Commerce Street

San Antonio, Texas (November 9, 2019) – A 40-year-old man was struck by a car Friday night in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident occurred just before midnight, November 8, on Commerce Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside a crosswalk, when he was hit by an eastbound SUV.

The man was taken to University Hospital with head trauma. He was listed in critical condition.

The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
