2 Officers Injured in Crash on Hillcroft Avenue in Houston

Two Officers Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Hillcroft Avenue near Richmond Avenue

Houston, Texas (January 21, 2023) – Two HPD officers were injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash near the Galleria, according to officials.

The crash happened around 7:20 p.m., January 20, on Hillcroft Avenue near Richmond Avenue.

Officials said the officers were driving on Hillcroft Avenue responding to a high-priority call when they collided with a westbound pickup truck at the intersection.

The officers had turned on the sirens at the time of the crash.

Both officers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
