20-Year-Old Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on I-10 in San Antonio

20-Year-Old Man Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 10

San Antonio, Texas (September 29, 2023) – A 20-year-old man was injured Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:00 p.m., September 27, in the 15200 block of Interstate 10, near the University of Texas at San Antonio and Loop 1604.

Police said the man was riding his motorcycle when he was rear-ended by a BMW. The impact ejected the man from the motorcycle. He was taken to University Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

The BMW driver was detained by officers and assessed for a possible DWI. He was arrested and booked for intoxication assault.

The crash remains under investigation.
