Sloan V. Sherwood Killed in Midland County Pedestrian Accident on WCR 150

Midland County, Texas (November 20, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Midland County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly accident happened around 6:00 a.m., on November 18, on West County Road 150.

DPS said Sloan V. Sherwood, 28, of Big Lake, was standing in the roadway when she was hit by a Jeep driven by a 62-year-old Corsicana man.

WCR 150 does not have lighting, and it was dark at the time of the crash.

Sherwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep driver was uninjured in the crash.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
