Three Injured in Tyler Multi-Vehicle Crash on Toll 49 near Highway 110 North
Tyler, Texas (February 5, 2019) – Three people were injured Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Tyler, according to the DPS.
The crash occurred on Monday, February 4, on Toll 49, south of Highway 110 North.
DPS said a Honda CRV was heading northbound on Loop-49 when the driver veered into the southbound lane of traffic and directly into the path of a truck tractor towing a semi-trailer. The Honda then hit the truck-tractor before being struck by a southbound Ford pickup.
The Honda driver was flown to a Tyler hospital in critical condition. The truck-tractor was also taken to Tyler Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Ford driver went to the hospital by his means in stable condition.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
