3 Injured in 10-Vehicle Crash on Idalou Highway in Lubbock

Three Injured in Lubbock 10-Vehicle Crash on Idalou Highway near FM 1729

Lubbock, Texas (August 31, 2022) – Three people were injured Monday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 6:40 p.m., August 29, on the Idalou Highway near FM 1729.

Authorities said two 18-wheelers were stopped on the roadway during the storm while visibility was low when they were rear-ended by other vehicles.

A total of ten vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three people were taken to the hospital, and one of them was listed in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
