Three Injured in San Angelo Three-Vehicle Crash at 17th Street and North Bryant

San Angelo, Texas – Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on March 6, at the intersection of 17th Street and North Bryant.

According to the report, a blue Chevy Equinox was traveling westbound on W 17th while a silver Volkswagen Tiguan was traveling southbound on N Bryant. A red Ford Fusion was stopped at the stop sign facing eastbound on 17th Street.

The Chevy failed to yield the right of way from a yield sign, entered the intersection, and crashed into the Volkswagen.

The impact caused the Chevy to roll over, and it rested on top of the Ford.

The occupant in the Chevy and two people in the Ford were taken to Shannon with non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupant of the Volkswagen was released at the scene.

The Chevy driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a yield sign.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
