Three Killed, One Critically Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Great Trinity Forest Way

Dallas, Texas (October 1, 2020) – Three people were killed, and another was critically injured in a head-on collision Tuesday night in Dallas, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:14 p.m., September 29, in the 4800 block of Great Trinity Forest Way.

According to investigators, a 22-year-old man was driving a Nissan Altima westbound on the parkway when he crossed over the center median into the eastbound lanes. The man continued driving for a short distance before his Nissan crashed head-on into an eastbound Ford Escape driven by a 28-year-old man.

The force of the impact ripped the Nissan in half. The passenger compartment of the Nissan went over the side barrier of the highway bridge onto a grassy area about 50 feet below.

The Nissan driver and his two male passengers were ejected and were pronounced dead. Their names have not been released.

The Ford driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. We also wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws or statues which were violated.
