1 Injured after Pickup Truck, 18-Wheeler Collide on Highway 6 in College Station

One Person Hospitalized, Another Arrested after College Station Crash on Highway 6 at Harvey Mitchell Parkway

College Station, Texas (June 10, 2022) – One person was injured and another was arrested following a head-on crash between an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck in College Station early Friday morning, according to a local news source.

The collision was reported at about 1:18 a.m. on Highway 6 at Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

As per the local news source, a Toyota pickup truck was heading northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 6 when it collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the 18-wheeler sustained non-incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was arrested for DUI.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
