3 Presumed Dead after Atlas Air Plane Crash in Trinity Bay near George Bush International Airport

Three Feared Dead after Trinity Bay Plane Crash near Houston

Houston, Texas (February 24, 2019) – Three people are presumed dead after a plane crashed in Trinity Bay on Saturday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at 12:45 p.m. February 23, approximately 30 miles southeast of Houston George Bush International Airport.
Authorities said the Atlas Air Flight 3591 cargo flight was contracted by Amazon Air and was heading to the Houston airport from Miami when the 767 lost radio and radar contact with with the air controllers about 30 miles from George Bush.
Three people were onboard the flight at the time of the crash. Authorities said they recovered human remains at the site but have not confirmed the fatalities.
The search is ongoing and the authorities are investigating to determine what caused the crash.
