Four Killed and One Injured in Bastrop County Crash on State Highway 21 at Quarter Horse Loop
Bastrop County, Texas (March 30, 2019) – Four people were killed and another was injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Bastrop County, according to a local news release.
The fatal crash occurred just after 9:00 p.m. March 29, on State Highway 21 at Quarter Horse Loop.
Texas Highway Patrol said the crash involved two vehicles.
Four people were killed in the crash. Another victim sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
Both directions of Highway 21 were closed following the crash. Traffic was diverted at FM 1441 at Highway 21 and Cardinal.
The crash remains under investigation.
