16-Year-Old Michael McCormick Killed in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Erskine Avenue at North Slide Road

Lubbock, Texas (December 16, 2019) – A 16-year-old was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Lubbock, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place around 10:30 p.m. December 15, at the intersection of North Slide Road and Erskine Avenue.

Police said 16-year-old Michael McCormick was driving a pickup when he was involved in a collision with a sedan at the intersection.

McCormick was pronounced dead at the scene.

The LPD is investigating the crash.
