Five Killed in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (May 7, 2023) – Five people were killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:30 a.m., May 6, near the 7000 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people later died from their injuries.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

No other details were provided.

The LPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
