50-Year-Old Man Injured in DUI Crash on Vance Jackson Road and NW Loop 410 in San Antonio

50-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Vance Jackson Road and NW Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (January 8, 2022) – A 50-year-old man was seriously injured Friday night in a DUI crash in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 10:40 p.m., January 7, at the intersection of Vance Jackson Road and the NW Loop 410 eastbound access road.

Police said the man was driving a black Nissan Xterra southbound on Vance Jackson Road while a gold GMC Yukon was traveling eastbound on the NW Loop 410 access road.

The Yukon ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into the Xterra.

The Xterra driver was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with serious injuries.

The Yukon driver was found to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash and was booked for intoxication assault.

The crash remains under investigation.
