6 Injured in FedEx Truck Crash on FM 1486 in Montgomery County

Six Injured in Montgomery County FedEx Truck Crash on FM 1486 near Little Caney Creek

Montgomery County, Texas (May 16, 2022) – Six people were injured Sunday afternoon in a crash involving a FedEx delivery truck in Montgomery County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just before 4:00 p.m., May 15, on FM 1486 near Little Caney Creek.

Authorities said an SUV veered across the centerline and was struck by the oncoming FedEx truck.

Two children, ages 4 and 8, in the SUV were airlifted to Texas Medical Center in critical condition.

A woman in the SUV was taken to a Conroe hospital in critical condition.

The SUV driver, a man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition. 

The driver and passenger of the FedEx truck were also taken to the hospital in stable condition. Both of them were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
