65-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Wayside Drive

Houston, Texas (February 18, 2021) – The 65-year-old man who was injured in a pedestrian accident earlier this month in Houston has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 9:00 a.m., February 4, in the 1000 block of Wayside Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the street when he was struck by a southbound blue Chevrolet Cruze.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died on Thursday (February 11). His name has not been released.

The Chevrolet driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
