67-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Roosevelt Drive in San Antonio

67-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Roosevelt Drive near Southeast Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas – A 67-year-old man was seriously injured on Christmas Day in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s Southside, according to the police.

The accident happened around 8:00 p.m., December 25, on Roosevelt Drive near Southeast Loop 410.

Police said a Lexus was traveling southbound while a Chevy Equinox was traveling northbound. The Lexus failed to give the right of way while turning left and struck the Chevy.

The Lexus was redirected and it struck a 67-year-old man who was walking on the sidewalk.

The man was taken to SAMMC with serious injuries.

The Lexus driver was arrested and charged with Intoxicated Assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
