Seven Injured in Montgomery County Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 at Rayford Road

Montgomery County, Texas (August 27, 2019) – Seven people were injured a 5-vehicle crash on Monday in Montgomery County, according to a local news source.

The crash took place on August 26, on Highway 99 at Rayford Road.

Troopers said the driver of a pickup truck wasn’t paying attention and crashed into stopped traffic. A total of five vehicles were involved in the crash.

The impact caused the truck to catch fire.

Seven people were taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
