Jeremy Lamb Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 152 in Moore County

Moore County, Texas (April 9, 2023) – One of the two people who died following a head-on collision early Saturday morning in Moore County has been identified as Jeremy Lamb, 45, of Fairfield, Montana.

The deadly crash happened at around 3:00 a.m. Saturday, April 8 on Highway 152 approximately 17.5 miles east of Dumas.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Lamb was driving a 2004 Ford Taurus westbound on Highway 152 when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an eastbound 2015 Chrysler 200.

After the impact, the Ford stopped in the eastbound lane while the Chrysler came to rest on the improved shoulder facing northbound.

Lamb and the driver of the Chrysler were declared dead at the scene. A passenger in the Ford sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Amarillo Northwest Texas hospital.

DPS said Lamb and his passenger were wearing seat belts, while the driver of the Chrysler was not wearing the seatbelt.

The posted speed limit was 75 mph, and road conditions were dry and clear at the time of the accident.
