71-Year-Old Woman Killed in Arlington Pedestrian Accident on South Cooper Street

Arlington, Texas (March 20, 2023) – A 71-year-old woman was killed early Sunday morning in a pedestrian accident in Arlington, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened just after 3:15 a.m., March 19, in the 8100 block of South Cooper Street.

Police said the woman was wearing dark clothing and was crossing the street, outside of a designated crosswalk, when she was struck by a Dodge Ram 1500.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Dodge driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The police are investigating the crash.
