Child Injured in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Easterling Drive

Harris County, Texas (October 17, 2019) – An 8-year-old girl with autism was hit by a car on Thursday in Harris County, according to a local news release.

The accident took place in the 11700 block of Easterling Drive, near Highway 290 and Huffmeister.

Deputies said the girl wandered from home and was hit by a vehicle.

The child was airlifted to the hospital with a head injury.

The involved driver stayed at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
