Two Men Injured in Austin Multi-Vehicle Crash on East U.S. 290 near Harris Branch Parkway

Austin, Texas (September 28, 2019) – Two men in their 20s were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Friday evening in Northeast Austin, according to officials.

The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. September 27, on the westbound service road of East U.S. 290, near Harris Branch Parkway.

Officials said the crash involved multiple vehicles.

One person was ejected from a vehicle and another was temporarily trapped.

Two men were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, one with life-threatening injuries and another with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
