Driver Killed, Firefighter Injured in Crash with Fire Truck on FM 75 (Longneck Road) in Princeton

One Killed and Firefighter Injured in Princeton Fire Truck Crash at FM 75 (Longneck Road) and Monte Carlo Blvd

Princeton, Texas (July 14, 2020) – A driver was killed, and a firefighter was injured in a traffic collision involving a Princeton fire truck Monday morning in Princeton, according to a local news release.

The fatal crash happened at about 10:00 a.m. July 13, at FM 75 (Longneck Road) and Monte Carlo Blvd.

According to the release, a Princeton brush truck was heading eastbound on Monte Carlo Blvd when it was t-boned by a pickup truck at the intersection.

The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fire truck driver was taken to Medical City McKinney with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
