1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20 in Dallas

One Hospitalized after Dallas Crash on Interstate 20 near J.J. Lemmon Road

Dallas, Texas (July 7, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision in southern Dallas on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

The crash occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on July 6 on Interstate 20 near J.J. Lemmon Road.

Authorities said an 18-wheeler and eight vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the interstate under unclear circumstances.

One patient was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.

Two left lanes of Interstate 20 were closed as crews worked to clean the spilled oil and remove the wrecked vehicles.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
