95-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Heights Blvd in Houston

95-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Heights Boulevard at 14th Street

Houston, Texas – A 95-year-old woman was killed Monday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:35 p.m., February 19, in the area of East 14th Street and Heights Boulevard.

Police said a silver Chevrolet Suburban was traveling westbound on East 14th Street and had a green light at the intersection. It turned left turn to go southbound on Heights Blvd and struck the woman who was crossing the street in a crosswalk.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

The Chevrolet driver, a 52-year-old woman, was questioned and did not show signs of intoxication.

The police are investigating the crash.
