Man, 5 Kids Injured in Rollover Crash on Poplar Street in San Antonio

Six Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Poplar Street near Culebra Road

San Antonio, Texas (February 28, 2021) – A mother and her five children were injured in a rollover crash Friday night in San Antonio, according to police.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m., February 26, in the 3600 block of Poplar Street near Culebra and General McMullen Drive.

Police said a woman was driving a van eastbound on the street when one of her five kids began tugging on her arm, causing her to lose control and hit a parked car.

The impact caused the van to roll over onto its side.

The woman and her five kids were treated at the scene for minor cuts and bruises.

The crash remains under investigation.
