One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-35 in Austin

One Hurt in Austin Car Crash on I-35

Austin, Texas (July 6, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Austin, according to the authorities.

The crash was reported at about 11:15 a.m. on Interstate 35 near Cesar Chavez Street.

Authorities said four vehicles collided and the impact caused two of them to catch fire.

One adult male was transported to a hospital by the Austin-Travis County EMS. The patient was being treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
