Deputy and Civilian Injured in Horizon City Two-Vehicle Crash on Ashford Street

Horizon City, Texas (November 7, 2021) – Two people, including an El Paso County Sheriff Office (EPCSO) Deputy, were injured on Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Horizon City according to the deputies.

The crash happened on November 6, in the 15000 block of Ashford Street.

Deputies said the deputy was driving southbound when a northbound silver Nissan Frontier turned in front of him. The Nissan failed to yield the right of way and crashed into the deputy’s vehicle.

The deputy and a passenger in the Nissan were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The Special Traffic Investigators are investigating the crash.
